Mozilla Crashing

In the latest annoyance to pass before me, today Mozilla decides to crash any time there's a certain program run on a webpage - namely, anything which calls on msvcrt.dll. For example, aolmail.aol.com. No matter what I try, the bloody thing crashes every single fucking time and I can't figure out WHY. Not only that, there are SEVERAL msvcrt.dll files on my drive and it doesn't tell me which one does it.

And this started yesterday.

WTF.

I've determined that Mozilla is choking while trying to load up C apps. Any clues as to how to disable C in Mozilla?

You sure the DLLs aren't corrupted somehow? Anyways, to my knowlege, you'll have to kill JS to disable any scripting in Mozilla....which will kill your browsing experience anyways.

Mozilla has nothing to do with Visual Basic. Don't even suggest that it should.

I tried aolmail.aol.com and my Mozilla didn't crash. Mind you, I don't have an actual AOL account so I just made up a username and password and got rejected (of course), but it worked OK up to that point.

It actually crashes merely attempting to load the page. It's not VB6 - it has to do with Visual C++ I think. And it only just started, so I really can't tell WTF happened.

UPDATE: BWAHAH! It works again! IT'S ALIVE!

I think I figured it out.

It's the goddamn POS router's fault. It causes so much shit!

Hmm don't think the router is to blame for crashing Mozilla.

Anyways it works so don't knock it.

I have a similar problem
Everytime I click on this.

This must be a Windows-specific problem, or a problem related to your install; Mozilla (1.4 on Linux) doesn't crash when I visit any of those links.

Yes it is, because Mozilla started working again after I rebooted the goddamn thing.

I can load it fine.

That's what I thought too until rebooting the router solved my problem.
