Just finished Call of Duty demo

Fucking AWESOME. Medal of Honor is a festering pile of dogshit compared to this masterwork. Great touches:

- watch what happens if a mortar/shell goes off near you
- right click for all weapons puts you in iron sight aiming mode (awesome)
- blood! finally!
- fighting with a squad as standard (awesome)- no more lone ranger bullshit
- the enemies take realistic amounts of fire! No more empty 6 30'06 rounds into a kraut 10m away to kill him (now, even the relatively light M1A1 carbine can kill in one/two shots depending)
- the weapons look/sound/'feel' great

Unfortuantely, I was hoping the demo would be the Soviet campaign (starting off with the boat-trip across the Volga to get into Stalingrad), but it's a jump with the airborne into a village 5 miles away from the coast in the early hours of D-Day. At least it's original (tired of the umpteenth Omaha landing level.)
