Holy shit... I so fucking want this game. They take the original Homeworld, take some of the ideas from Cataclysm (actualy a shitload of them) and manage to make a more complex indeth game that is just incredible... I just hope the story doesn't suffer because of this.

This also happened to be my first homeworld experience. I went on a 4 ppl multiplayer game and I was getting close to being steamrolled when my connection got disconnected.

Here's some shots from a multiplayer game I was in:

My ally's ships are to the right and you can see my mothership up ahead. That mass of hexagonal dots are my platforms. I built so many that I eventually reached the unit cap.

What was left of my first force attacking a guy's mothership.

More mothership killing.

My second force on its way to join the battle.

Fun game.

I only have one problem so far, but its fairly major. I am downright pissed that I can not build strike craft and capitalships at the same time. I want to be able to build defensive interceptors at the same time as frigates damnit.

Damn it. Mozilla refuses to dl so i'm forced to fsking use internet exploder. Dam pice o' shite. It's dling at 3 kbps. I have a fux0ring cable modem. Thats slower than fucking dial up. It's going to take about 20 hours to download at that rate. So now i'm trying to get mozzie to work. Arrgh.

If you're using one of those servers that have those lines, don't just pick whichever one has the shortest line. Use the server closest to you.

For me it made the difference between 3 KB/sec and 180 KB/sec.
