It just recently went gold, so I don't believe it's in stores yet. I have heard that the demo is out.

Single saber, strong, or possibily Saber Staff. The new moves are rather fun, although the saber wall with two sabers is pretty groovy. Still, I chose two sabers and I'm really regretting not going with one and strong stance.

Dual sabres for me. I like the flurry of blows you can deliver, as well as the ability to throw one ala-Vader ROTJ and keep another in your hand.

Fuck, that was awesome. The Jedi Tomb one was the best- for maximum fun, coax the Sith into having to force jump after you- then use force push. I sent so many hurtling to their deaths :)

And of course, there's the endless fun of Force Gripping a standard soldier, lifting him over a cliff- and letting go.

"All too easy ..."

(we better get the option to become Sith in the game)

Colors- I chose the classic green and blue, but different hilts.

Much better than the spectacular Jedi Knight II- although the Quake 3 engine is a bit dated at times, you ignore that.

You can go over to the Darkside in Jedi Academy, just kill Brosh when you get the chance.

Well in any case... I think I prefer the Staff Saber, it just looks so damn cool. Just finished the game for the first time with the difficulty level set on"Jedi", I've already started a new game on "Jedi Knight". Man this game is a lot of fun. :)

Supposedly they've made things very interesting for a player who goes to the dark side.

My wallet screams in agony. So many great games coming out this fall!

Even though I don't have the game, I'm just going to guess that I'd like no saber. I never liked using them in JK2, standard weapons are more powerful when used properly. I could easily beat up saber weenies and stay on par with more adept users. My falling is my lack of Force control, which I always screw up.

Single player, I'll probably go with dual sabers. I didn't try anything else out in the demo, especially since my comp doesn't like it and no matter what I do with the graphics settings my FPS always goes to shit whenever a lightsaber touches something. Makes those duels on the Chandrila level rather difficult.

I do love the new wall-related moves, though. Takes some work relearning the timing, especially for the vertical climb and wallcling moves. Force Speed is even more awesome in duels now, even though I couldn't see what I was doing at 1 FPS, I was ripping through those Dark Jedi crazy fast. Hopefully the full version won't be such a bitch to me...

In multiplayer, though, I'm a bit partial towards the ol' E-11. I loved running around in JKII as a stormie blasting people...

having played through the full game several times i have to say the saber staff is the better form... single saber is difficult to handle when your opponent has dual or saber staff... and the duel sabers are great for taking out normals, but when fighting the reborns your always dodging and hoping to strike them, rather than the opposite.

So in my opinion saber staff is better

I really can't decide whether dual sabers or staff saber is better...
