There are some truly 1337 custom boxes out there. Someday, I'd like to get a jet-black case, with a see-thru glass logo of some sort, and some blue LEDs inside. Does anyone here have a custom box? Could you~~~~~ post pics ^^ if you do?

I don't have a custom box, but MN PC Tech does absolutely outstanding work.

Mine is a suitcase

The only thing I've done so far is mount LEDs in the front of my case and run a clock generator through them so they blink in sequence at 1MHz. Eventually, I'm going to spray paint mine black and cut out a window of my own design. (For those that are going to paint your case in the future, I highly recommend using paint designed for viynl surfaces. You can pick up a can at Auto Zone for $5 (half-size is $4) and it goes on so well that it can be done in just one coat...so it won't take all day to paint your case and wait for it to cure. Just be sure to sand off the old paint first, or it'll look like shit.

Nothing done to my case, but I've always wanted to have my existing keyboard have lightsheet under the keys, so the light shines throught the cracks between them.

That's it. That's all I'll need to be cool.

If I ever get a nice comp with a clear glass case I'm getting a Quake Logo superimposed over a Wolfenstein logo frost-etched into it. Then I'ma light that bi0tch up like a Christmas Tree!

Heres mine: Avanche Titan, it uses no screws and I've got a green cold catode in it. I think I'm gonna get a custom side plate with a window.

I was going to make a custom case out of a 20mm Ammo box. I was going to stencil "Chesty Puller Mk1 Computer" on the side and give it to a buddy in the Marines. However, I didnt have anyplace to put the ammo box after my latest move so I ended up tossing it.

I would like to mod a case, just cause it is a chance to work with your hands but I need to wait till my economic situation is better.

This is my new PC. I decided that I wanted to try water cooled for once, and was quite pleased with the results. I still have some work to do on it, but it's turned out pretty damn good so far. (This is an older pic, the PC is running now, but I have yet to upload the pictures).

Seems as though you could overclock that thing like a bish

it probably runs quiet except for the HD, I'd bet

For a school project, one of my friends modded his case, putting a window in with the Quake 3 logo on it.

My computer is a plain beige box.

By the end of this year, it will be entirely unique.

I don't give a damn what the thing looks like, It's what's on the screen that interests me..

(Though I am currently failing to save up for a nice shiny Titanium Powerbook)

In fan mode 1, it makes almost no sound. It runs at a consistent 30C, and I do plan to OC the Hell out of it.

Is my case. It has a UV cool cathode inside, as shown by this bad picture, when i took the side off, on one hot day.

Kewl! I could do it up like this all Victorian-like, but with lots of skeletons, demons, spikes, and hanging chains with hooks! Oh, and 'Blood' paint and red LED lights everywhere.

Then I'll mount that bi0tch in an old customized 4-poster bed with black veiling around and more chains-with-blades, and a plush red velvet throne. ..
