Something is wrong with IE

Post by Alyeska »

I haven't a fucking clue whats wrong with it, but I can tell you the symptoms. When I reboot my computer the homepage is lost. Scrolling with either the mouse wheel or the side of the page is also lagged on websites longer then two pages. The scroll lag is just getting worse and worse.

Only thing I can think of is spyware, you've probably already thought of it but run Spybot Search & Destroy.

Close enough, I ran Ad Aware, its newest version. Found a couple hiding on my system and killed them off. When my home page first didn't come up and something else did twice in a row after reboots, I imediately suspected spyware. So I ran Adaware to remove the bad stuff and two actual programs were running on my system with the rest just being tracking cookies. The problem persists.

I had this problem several weeks ago. I wasn't willing to spend time attempting to isolate the problem, so I just reinstalled the program, which resolved the issue.
