MIRC question

I'm doing a DCC file transfer and I'm in a queue. But for some reason, the connection times out before I get a chance to get a send. What's going on? Can anyone help me?

The IRC bot that's handling the queue may keep your position on the queue, even if the DCC session closes.
Log back on every now and again and check.
(I had this when I was trying to get something. Gave up and used the FTP alternate eventually)
