PSP and File Associations

PSP and File Associations
Europa Universalis 2 uses .ai files for the AI, but this is also some sort of image extension. I went into the PSP file association window to fix it so I can open those files in notepad but the uncheck box is greyed out. What do I do?

Go to windows explorer, and look up folder options somewhere in the menu. Then go to file types, and should be self explanatory. Or you can shit+right click, then select open with.
