Is there a way to change them to icons that you made yourself? If so, how do you do this?

Yes, those are what I'm referring to. Using WinXP HE (we should all know this by now, come on ). When I try to change those, the My Computer icon goes to explorer.exe in WINNT and everything else goes to SHELL32.dll in WINNT/SYSTEM32.phongn wrote:Go into properties of the icon, change it. If you're referring to things like "My Computer" and the "Recycle Bin," it depends on what OS you're using.
I don't want a system icon, is the thing. What I'm asking is if I can use one of my personal images to put in place of them. I would have to create a file for it, of course, but what kind of file extension would I use?Faram wrote:R-Clic on the desktop / Propeties / Desktop / Customize Desktop / Click on the Icon you wich to change and the change icon button / Search for your icon file.
Easy!
