edit: I'm hearing that it puts watermarks in your renders. Oh well, can't complain about the price.

Meh, export to RIB and render using aqsis or something.... oh wait, that's *nix only I think, and Maya LE not available on Linux... not that it matters, since my computer is too slow.

Maya PLE being a free download has been old, old news to the CGI community.


But since SD.net is not exactly filled with experts in the CGI field, good news. :D

The layout's really changed from what I've gone through, but use the subsections at the top (basics, modelling, animation, etc) to get you started on Maya. They're quicktime videos.

And don't let the furry discourage you. :P

It's old news to SDN as well. This is just the newest version of Maya PLE.
