Damn ... they just bought some Dell 1800FPs (18" LCD). They're so nice for non-gaming purposes...my laptop's screen is sooo horrid in comparison...

Is everyone getting them? Nice, big new monitors is a good way to get everyone going, "Phongn, your gonna hook me up right????"

Alas, it looks like it's only going to one of the library's labs.

Dell has a special going that you can get the 20" for below $900. I picked one up a few weeks ago and it ROCKS.

From what I gather, they work pretty damn good for gaming as well. Even the Samsung LCD monitor with the built-in TV tuner (I can't remember the specific model number. I think its 170MP, but don't hold me to it. I'll look the next time I goto Sams Club.) plays games FLAWLESSLY. No ghosting at all.

Just the labs. Not us lowly students.

Hm, and I wish all the labs would get them...because the NROTC computers count as a lab as well (nrotclab)!

If it's just the library...I never go there anyway, since we're getting five (well, maybe six if they bring in another to go with this extra moniter) with net access anyway.
