My Ibm thinkpad 365 ED (worth about 10 $ at this point, and thats not counting this error's value detratction) keeps giving me an error from Pheonix (the bios, i know that much) telling me that there's no harddrive partition or something to that effect (sry, the error now refuses to come up for me) So what should i do to fix this?

You could try typing the error message into Google (when it comes up again), see if that yields any results. You could also check IBM's knowledge base (put the error message in the search box), but that might not be helpful. You could try flashing the BIOS, just type "flash bios IBM thinkpad 365 ED" or something of that sort into Google, or IBM's knowledge base, and that might work.

If all else fails, you could just reformat the hard drive and start over. Or just chuck the fucking thing out the window. :D

Seriously, though, I take it that it doesn't boot? You might try Ranish Partition Manager and see if the hard drive actually has a bootable partition. If not, then it's wiped anyway, and you may as well just reformat. If it does boot, then fuck it, don't worry about it unless it stops booting.

It boots, so i'll just ignore the problem till it prevents me from doing something with it. (Right now i don't really use it, so, eh, what's to worry about?)
