I have no fucking clue why this happened, but when I moved all my old fonts into C:\WINNT\FONTS, the Arial one just went totally blank. Anything using Arial simply doesn't show up at all. It coulda happened to any one of my fancy ones, but no, it had to be Arial. The one font Windows uses the most, totally trashed.

Could someone help me to fix this extremely annoying problem or point me in the right direction for help? The Google gods don't know about anything of this nature except if it involves a Windows emu under Linux. WTF?

EDIT: I have a sneaky suspicion that it's a disk corruption issue (which means it was caused by the goddamn power spikes and brownouts in this POS apartment!) so I'll reboot and hope CHKDSK finds and fixes it...

... Have you tried reinstalling the font? It should be on your Windows CD somewhere. If you can't find it, find me on AIM, I'll send it to you.

Rebooted, and problem is gone as quickly as it appeared. Still...
