Does anyone here know how to disguise what country I'm located in while I'm online? I don't like to be redirected just because I'm from Denmark.

I'm trying to access the Clone Wars cartoons on Cartoon Network, but the only movie I get is a 5 second movie of "This content is not viewable outside the United States".

I tried the free trial version of the Anonymizer Toolbar and did get in once, but that thing is an all or nothing solution. It completely locks down IE with no extras at all. (Meaning, no Javascript, no movie.)

My best bet would be to hide my IP address or set up a proxy, but how do I do that?

My PC is a P4 running Windows XP Pro (Danish) and I'm surfing through Internet Explorer 6. (I know IE sucks, but I can' find a browser as flexible as IE.)

Note to mods: If this is illegal feel free to HoS and/or delete it, but I'm not trying to hack them or anything like that. I just want beef up my personal security and privacy.

Well, what you would do is search on google for the address of a desired proxy server, then put that in your browser settings.

Note some might not like you getting large files and such through their proxy, and often they are very slow and unreliable. Don't even think about using one to "protect privacy", since the owner of the proxy is probably less trustworthy than the site.

Using a proxy or VPN tunnel is the only real way to do this.

*fondly remembers the days when Anonymizer was a completely free service*
