Hmmm No Sound....

Everything is checked out except...no sound is coming out.
What happened was...I exited the game because it froze or some such and now there is no sound.
Did I just blew off my sound card or what?

Reboot your machine, maybe? Sounds like the sound card wasn't deinitialized or something technical-sounding like that.

Your game probably put a lock on the sound card and hadn't released it (which it shouldn't do, but I digress). Reboot.

Make sure that you aren't muted in the volume control. Check control panel or the system tray.
