In Mozilla, Edit->Preferences->History (nested under Navigator)->Clear History. In Firebird, Tools->Options->Privacy->History->Clear.

Make sure you delete the location bar history as well. And dont forget t delete unwanted cookies by going into tools, cookmanager, manage cookies and then clearing unwanted cookies. Then you should be relatively safe.

What's the difference between 1.5a and Firebird? I use 1.5a but everyone here seems to reccomend Firebird?

Firebird is a stripped-down browser-only edition of Mozilla. It is less of a resource hog and generally easier to use (the preference pane was completely redesigned).

Still waiting for the 0.7 debian package- don't feel like compiling and packaging firebird myself. ..... - just got scared of packaging after seeing how xfree86 was set up.
