Popup blockers for IE

I've tried to get one of my friends to switch to Mozilla, but she's very adamant about sticking with IE, and it's useless trying to get her to do something different. I use Firebird myself and love it. It's not very Netscape-like and I don't think she realizes that.
So does anyone know of any decent popup blockers that work for IE? I haven't had to look for any for ages, myself...

The Google Toolbar works fairly well.

Well, there is the good old standby, the Google toolbar. It does a reasonable job (though it blocks just about every popup, including the good ones.) However, it's free, and it doesn't come with spyware.
Another sort of off-the-wall solution is the free
Avant browser. This one does a better job of blocking popups, uses all the settings from IE (since it is basically a wrapper for IE) and it has the nifty tabbed browsing feature, among others.

I picked up Avant just to try it out. I like how it tries to emulate Mozilla, Opera et al. I wonder how secure it is since it uses IE for its encryption and such.

Or you could just hit the direct approach and goto toolbar.google.com

Here's a neat little tid-bit for the IE-only nazis....

Looks like Microsoft finally bought a clue.

The Google Toolbar blocks just about every pop-up BUT you can put any webpage you want onto the safe list. Because of that I recieve the PM pop-ups from message boards.

The neat thing about Mozilla is that it will open a popup as long as you clicked on some link that opens it (but it won't open on its own, because of a timed event, etc). Don't know if popup-stoppers do that.

Another good thing about Mozzy: You can add a website (such as
http://bbs.stardestroyer.net) to your popup-block exclude if you want the site to use popups (say you're at a phpBB board like the one I used as an example (LOL), and you want to know instantly if you have PMs...)

The problem is that it's likely that she's gotten very comfortable with using IE, so
any difference in interface is probably going to put her off. A lot of people are simply too
lazy and
apathetic to make any serious effort in learning new programs or operating systems... which is why you have people hanging onto obsolecent or just plain inferior software.
The problem is, not everyone takes computing seriously. (Including myself.)

Like this (for those of you that require a graphical representation).

I used to use this program before Netscape implemented popup blocking:
