game problems

I've had problems with several games of the years and out of boredom, figure it would be a good time to try and resolve them.

Oni - This is an oddity, I meet all the system requirements, (hell, I have twice the needed processing speed) yet, the game is incrediably laggy. It takes about one and a half to two seconds for the cursor to actually move after i move the mouse. The thing is, the intro movie plays smoothly, yet everything else is slower than molasses in Alaska in the middle of winter. :wtf:

Star Trek: Dominion War - My dad got me this game several months ago. The game was fine, save for the fact that the graphics looked like they were in 8-16 bit color, and I'm running on 32 bit. :wtf: I don't remember seeing an option screen, so this might be remedied when I reinstall the game.

Red Faction - I have two copies of this game and neither will work. The game installs just fine and dandy, but when I try and play the game, I get a white screen that flashes. (well, more like strobes) There isn't any sound either. I meet the system requirements.

Don't expect any fixes for that, the developers basically released it and then ignored it, even though there's tons of people who can't get it to work properly. There wasn't an options menu either.

It was crap anyway.

Sounds like graphics problems. Grab your card's latest drivers and the latest DirectX if you don't have it already.
