Scratches DX2 from must buy list, Biggest irk for me. SAME fucking ammo for all guns...

The Unified ammo isn't all that bad, really. It cuts down on the ever so annoying "shit, out of shock prod ammo, out of tranq darts, what now?"

Of course, the DX2 shock prod rather sucks as is, but meh.

Though I have only played the Demo, you can see what complaints I have about it here, and hopefully it will give you a better idea on what the game is like.

IMO, all the problems exept the bad AI are +'s for me, and mostly, at heart im not critical, I KNOW I will like the game, because I can manage to like allmost every game

Great review, Hotfoot... Well written. I never did play Deus X. and now I won't be playing DX2. I can't wait until manhunt comes out on PC

Why won't you? Based on the review scores, and my own opinion, its a fun game with flaws, and I have never known a game without one.
Some of you are just want a DX1:mission pack.

Truth be told, I'd never even heard of DX until I came here. Sounded okay, if a bit dated. If I see it in ye olde compUSA or best buy at a bargain price, I'll see about picking it up, as it sounds like a fairly decent FPS, just not quite my style. same Reason I never bought The Thing. IIRC, that got rave reviews as being super-cool, but it just wasn't me. I'll wait until full release and if I see enough favorable reviews, I may stop-n- grab DX 2

I'm kinda disappointed in this game based on the demo and what I've heard of the full game. It just doesn't seem like a bif step forward from Deus Ex at all in many ways, and the game just feels off to me like GTA3 feels off when I play it.

the X-Box nearly identical to the PC, causing lots of PC games to be fucked
over for the X-Box's controller, and never be as good on PC that they were
going to be before they got taken over and ported to X-BOx.
