Are you using the secure link or have you disabled cookies?

I am having no problems. What are your Firewall setting?

I'm experiencing similar problems. Every 10 minutes or so, the server refuses to respond for about a minute. If you're not auto-logged, it might be the same thing affecting both of us.

Could be that out-of-control Java process again.

Are you using AOL? If so, do you have the Log Me In Automatically box checked? When I'm at home and stuch using AOL it logs me out after I've viewed two pages unless I tell it to log me in automatically. Here at school on IE its just fine. I don't know what causes it.

Are you using a proxy to surf the Internet? Some proxies will close your SD.Net session prematurely.

Me or Enigma?
Either one, I suppose. Both problems could result from improperly configured or restrictive proxy servers.

No proxies here, but SDnet will randomly refuse connections for up to a minute.
Lord MJ, can you please LART that Java thing back to the Stone Age?

Ok, knowing that I know about as much about computers as a 3 year old knows about Hemmingway, what do I do about it?

I've noticed that SDN will periodically refuse to respond, and log me out if I get booted of the net by my lame ass ISP, but I never got what you describe. You try deleting the cookies, logging in with the "login automatically" box checked?

I've done nothing different to my computer. The forum would just suddenly ask me to login.

It doesn't refuse logging in, at least for me. But it constantly asked me to login. Anyways, it past and everything seems to be normal now. But I would like to know the cause.
