need help with newsreaders

I'm looking for a decent Mac OS X newsreader. I'm also unsure about setting them up - I know basically nothing about using newsgroups, other than that AOL's reader sucks.
(mewling voice) Help?

As for the question I dont know much about Macs. However you may want to take a look at this
