So, whaddaya think about the new EA's racing game? I finished it a couple of days ago, and the game pumps some serious adrenaline.
The only thing I can complain about is the style - I don't like the overall idea into making your car a goddamn billboard that pecks the viewer eyes (and ears) out. Of course, if you are into tuning your car into a mean looking street machine...
But for me, most of the visual stuff I had to apply to my car in order to win this game...sometimes just stupid. Especially roof scoops. Last two races, however I stripped everything off my Skyliner, left it visually stock except for a small spoiler in the back.
But what I liked the game for was the driving model. I do drive a lot in real life, some racing/rallying too, and I must say that cars behave quite nicely (except for the parts when you're driving through the town with 170 mph+, I can't say how the car handles, but just a small bump in the road and off the street you go). Overally, since Porsche Unleashed EA has been making the driving model quite nicely, I loved drifts with a performance tuned Subaru Impreza, reminded me of the moments I spent on a rallycross track.
7/10 for me, its a bit arcadish, but gives you lots of other features along the way. Except for the hiphop music that I don't really like.
