I have passed 2 IT Management papers, confirming that I have no idea what I'm doing but I'm doing it well.

Have you done IT papers as part of a tertiary study too? I don't know if they're all like what I had but it seemed to essentially be memorize random IT related shit, write a report on it then remember it for the exam.

I've never bothered to get any kind of certificates. For a while, it was only experience that counted. Now days the certificates weigh pretty heavily with Human Resources types. But, since Ive been temping a lot I have not gotten off my butt to take some tests.

I've seen a few exams, they ask questions you almost never come across in the day to day operations of IT support. But I suppose you learn something new everytime you study. So that's not bad.
