One of the oddest things to be made into a game, is being made into a game.

Basically you beat the shit out of each other. Which really isn't all that the movie was about.

"While VU Games didn't reveal many details, the LA-based publisher said Fight Club is a one- to two-player game featuring several characters from the movie, including Jack and Tyler. The 3D hand-to-hand street fights appear to take place in fictitious and movie-based environments, and following the same rules as the movie, the brawls end with a tap out, or when an opponent can no longer defend him or herself."

It can be interesting. Fight Club left a lot of implications of a HUGE secret society conspiracy, which can be a great backdrop for a game. For example, we saw what happened with "Jack"... but what were some of the other bastards doing, in other parts of the city (or, indeed, the country) while he was trying to excorcise Tyler?

Except it seems like they're just making a fighting game.

Just another beat-em-up me thinks. But why did they wait so long to make a game from the film? Fight Club is about 3 years old now I think, how come they didn't make a game about it back then?

My guess is they are making a game to get fight club back in the mind before they announce Fight Club 2. Makes sense right?

Looks like something I'll work hard to ignore.

I mean, it COULD be good; I thought Metroid 3D was gonna blow chunks (common, you know you did to) but look where it wound up.

Seriously doubt that'll be the case here, though.

Well, sir, we could make a completely shitty fighting game at the level of some hentai game, and just attatch a famous title to it without adding anysort of plot or shit like that to it. It works great for DBZ.

Movie tie-in game = will suck by default.
