A really really weird question

I just want to know if there were more than one version of Mortal Kombat 2 released for the SNES.
I know there's the version that has the Acclaim(?) logo come up and Kintaro stomps it, then some legalese comes up, then the MK2 logo.
I had one that had this other blue logo animate onto the screen, then the acclaim logo, then the legalese, then the MK2 logo.
So, were there two or more versions put out for the SNES?
