1) Where are they stored? I'm worried that I'll need to delete an old installation before I install a new one, and if so I want to back em up
2) If I install a new build over an old one, will it keep my bookmarks?
My worries over bookmarks are the only thing keeping me from downloading the newest release

You will need to unhide hidden and system files to see that directory.
Yes. It is usually reccommended that you uninstall the old Mozilla (which should keep your old profile intact) and then install the new version of Mozilla.2) If I install a new build over an old one, will it keep my bookmarks?
