Will replace my old Dell Dimension.. whatever the hell it is. Pentium III 550 Mhz, and a screwed up power supply that only works with the motherboard that came with it. (A power supply that happens to be failing right now, but I can't do anything about it without ordering a new one from Dell)

The Dolby Digital ICE converts your audio into a Dolby Digital 5.1 signal if you have the proper equipment to decode it. It's one of the best features of that board.

Hrm... I'll see, I guess. I'm sure it will happen somewhere down the line, I plan to keep this thing for a long time. For $120, I'm gonna try and run it 'till it melts/becomes horribly obsolete

I have version one of that. Voted best overall mobo by THG (Tom's Hardware Guide) two years in a row. I'm very pleased with it's performance.

I cannot rave enough about how much this board kicks ass. I'm not good to my machines - leaving them always on in crappy, dusty, hot conditions - and this one has faithfully run without glitch for about a year now with an Athlon 2000+ in it.

Good, because mine got here yesterday, I've stared at it for an hour or two, just waiting to buy the processor.
