New Rule: No one leaves my mom the FUCK ALONE anymore...

I come back from a 1 day stayover at my dad's house and I come home
to find that she's disconnected the UPS from this computer, and my brother
claims the fan is making a weird whirring noise...
Okay, this stupid paranoia of hers has gone way to fucking far, new rule:
none of us, me or my brother, is allowed to go on a trip to dad's any more
unless one of us stays behind to keep the stupid bitch straight and keep her
from doing any fuckshitted moves like this again.

You ever have a paranoid family member in the family, and said paranoid
family member is not the one undergoing psychological treatment, but YOU?

Actually, it's "evil-ex-husband-tinfoil beanier nutcase"
IOW, she thinks that my dad pays people to spy on her

I thought you were the... oh, nevermind.
You really should have a family meeting (minus your mother) and try to get something done.

Because Mark also has issues, though not generally of the "my evil ex husband is trying to spy on me and is using the birds in the pictures I hang on the walls to do it" variety.

My mom borders on paranoia at times. Its both sad and a terrible burden to have a parent who simply isnt a parent in many ways. She is 52, broke, sick, in bad shape, and simply cant see that her actions are part of the reason she can never find work.

I'll echo that sentiment, as I've experienced it with my father, although he's getting better now - finally got a job. Unfortunately, he still acts like a paranoid at times, and he acts like a baby if things don't go his way (for instance he took a hefty chunk out of a pavlova today, and my brother was standing next to him and said innoculously "Got enough there?" My dad slammed the plate down and stormed away into his room).
There's nothing worse than having a parent, in my case a father, who you simply can't look up to as a role model because they've done nothing to earn that title. And to have them act like irrational babies who fly into a delusional rage whenever the smallest thing goes wrong (something my brother is in danger of becoming - he's almost 30 and he had a childish fit the other day because I was sitting in the front seat. I was utterly stunned - it's a fucking seat! And there he is whinging like a fucking crybaby!)
Um, this is becoming a family rant so I'll best shut up now. Sorry if I've hijacked the thread or whatever.

I echo the suggestion to inform your Mother that her actions broke the computer, and you now hold her responsible for replacing all damaged parts.
And I'd also move out... but I understand if it's the 'someone needs to watch over her' problem.
