Final Fantasy XI - payment using Debit card

I've been considering buying the game and getting started, but I don't have a credit card. I do have a Visa-accepted bank/debit card, though. Does anyone here play FF XI or know someone who does, and if so, do you know if they accept bank cards?

I've got it. As long as you have a standard Visa number, it works.

Yes. You can use the debit card in place of a credit card anytime you have a 'Visa' or other credit card logo. Duh.
