Damn. What can I say. This game is so hard, yet so awesome. Slash, hack, shoot. Four weapons. Of course the infimate Z-Sabre. So far I have unlocked a few abililties with this. The Buster Shot. Pretty simple, but they give it a punch in a few ways. The Chain Rod. Basically a hook shot/grappling hook with the ability to pull enemies in. Lastly the Sheild Boomerang. Blocks shots and reflects them in one way. Absorbs them in another and you can throw it if you get tired of defense. LoL! Plus there are forms, basically suits that have different abilities. Also there are these cyber elf things. I don't know what they do because I can't seem to use the ones I've collected. That's really the only drawback to the game. There's things like the cyber-elf and getting your forms that it's sorta vague on. The booklet explains all about elfs and to talk to Ciel, but nothing in game helps me and I can't equip any of the twenty or so I've found. Oh well. Right now I'm fighting the Peacock boss. Flame type guy. I found his weakness, using the the thunder chip attachment but I'm still getting it handed to me. If anyone has a GBA or the GBA Player go buy this one. It rocks.

Did they censor the American version of this like they did the first one? In Rockman Zero when you chopped/stabbed things blood sprayed everywhere, but when I played my friend's Megaman Zero none of this took place.

Yeah they removed the blood, but really it's not all that noticeable. Far worse is the crappy translation. I mean, you'd think they could at least get translators with knowledge of simple English grammar. MMZ2's translation was cheesy even by Capcom's standards.

Talk to Ciel about Cyber-elves, she allows you to download/feed them from your database. (WARNING: Using cyber-elves lowers your game rating, if you want to get all A's or EX skills, don't use them. That said, if you don't care about game ratings, they can make the game a lot easier.)

As for Pheonix Magnion (sp?) whatever you do, do not strike him (and cause him to counterattack.) When the screen's shaking. When this happens run to the side-door before the lava blasts up from the floor.

Beating Pheonix is mostly about anticipation and timing. Unless you're looking to get an A/S rating, take your time.

The game was alright, but not as good as the first one, though. The first one was hard, but fair, but this one is really cheap at times, and the chain rod, while somewhat interesting, was not implemented very well.

Yeah, I noticed that the game forced you to make several leaps of faith (Leaping over a pit/spikes with no knowledge of whether there was actually another platform at the other side or not), and had several places where it was almost impossible to avoid damage.

That said, I felt the stages where nicer visually in Z2, and many of the bosses where more inventive, even if they were a little to easy to beat (Though the polar bear boss was more or less pointless). It took me forever to beat Phantom/Anubis/train core in Zero one, yet Pheonix and the Frog boss where the only ones that provided any real challenge this time around. (Minus the anchoritus tag team, which took getting used to.)

I found the train core to be one of the easiest bosses in the game. Just stay away from the flame after a certain number of spurts, and dash when you're getting close to the top of the screen on those pillars. Anubis was kinda difficult, though, especially if you leave him alone long enough for him to summon those zombies. Phantom was also pretty easy, although the level after him was a bitch.

Pheonix Magnion is pissing me off right now. I started kicking his ass, and I ran out of energy tank and he started coming up with totaly new attacks. Gah!!!
