How do I get rid of junk in the registry?

My program says that I have some spyware in the registry from stupid kazaa from a long time ago. How do I get rid of it?

I just run wild and delete everything I a) recognize and b) don't like. I'm probably due for a fuckup soon.

start > run >"regedit.exe"

should get you into the registry...

alternatively download adaware or spybot search and destroy, much better idea

there's also a handy search feature in the registry that let you find specific regkeys and keywords. that should speed up the search & destroy immensely.
