Godfather Kobold and the "Knights of Thunder"

Post by The Yosemite Bear »

Basically they showed up in an Arduin AD&D module "Citidel of Thunder" (ok the citidel has that Krull like ability of disappearing and moving like someone's not going to notice some dead mage's former home teleporting all over the place).

basically they were armed with basic javelins & wieghted nets and had flying mounts (Kobold sized), and would flyout at night to do some terrorizing/slaving. They didn't need strength they had Gravity working for them. Oh and the reason they were called "Knights of thunder" was partially because of the magical citidel, and partially because their elites carried loud thunder noise making weapons (pirate hand grenades)

Their leader was equiped with the majority of the dead wisard's loot, and given the toys he had, it was pretty well garunteed that you were going to feel it....

Ah. Clever setup. What was the encounter level for the adventure? Oh wait... You said AD&D, they didn't have the CR system... Never mind.
