Yay, lets post an ambigious link!
So how am I supposed to view this on 26.4k dialup? Not that I visit those worthless sites anyway.
Oh, and I found Durandal's post-
Look at me! I can't dress my links for myself!

Well, you run Linux/Firebird anyway, so it's not as if you even
need to worry about such silly things

Well, super, especially in rural areas (I can vouch for this) It's difficult to get a good connection on ancient phone lines and whatnot. you could have the best modem on the planet in some places and still only get max ~24000

Indeed. 26400 is a pretty good connection if your telephone lines are in bad shape, actually.

It's the next generation of annoying advertising to piss Internet users off!
Hopefully, this is just a really sick joke, or the outcry to the ads will be so bad that they will stop using them.

Sorry but that ain't going to hapen Joe 6-pak is dumb and to lazy to care.
I am an old net geezer way back the same thing where said about animated gif's and other ads.
The public won't stand for it and so on.
What happened? People like me started using Firebird and adblocking stuff but the wast majority uses IE without any updates or adremoving whatsoever.
