Urgent Flash Question

In Flash 6, I need to copy an outline of Europe into the movie and have it gradually fill in over time (to show the expansion of the roman empire). I've got the "fill in over time" bit down by using color tweens to show an object that's been contoured to a specific province (Gaul or Illyricum, for example) tinting from white to red, but the outline of Europe is more difficult. I can't freehand draw it and if I try to paste an image in from an outside source, I can't fill in the image to get the contoured objects. Any ideas?
