I've just overclocked my pny, pci slot geforce fx 5200 from it's standard settings using nvidia's software. The core clock speed is no 300 mhz and the memory is now 313 mhz as opposed to the former 250 and 300 mhz. Not much, but it's a first step.

Just took both up to 320 mhz, still appears stable.

Congratulations. You are now officially a computer hardware geek.

Watch your temperatures carefully. You can probably push the GeForce even higher, but it might be a good idea to get a very high-performance cooling system.
