I don't know what's happened now. If y'all remember I reformatted last week. So I have a fresh system. However, I installed Nero Friday morning, and now my IE fucks up. It seems to only be on this page too. Either way I get an error message. The file in the error window is GDI.EXE. Anyone know what I can do about that. Seems that the boards load slow and don't register me hitting the submit button. I've uninstalled Nero too btw. In fact it's doing it right now. Gahhhhh!!!

I don't see why you don't just go make your own version of windows or something Faram. You know too damn much. I still have this problem where if I click on a link I have to do it a couple of times for it to work, and if it has to open another window it ain't gonna do it.

Well thank you very much
My google skill is strong
Might be a resource problem, the computer has too much to do and the request to open the link can’t be handled before it times out.
Try shutting down stuff from the system tray.
Also have a look see in the autostart folder and remove all crap from it.

It could also be symtoms of overheating. How hot is your chip running? (don't use some POS third party program, go in your BIOS and look)

Why, exactly, are you still using Internet Explorer? Especially if you run Windows 98, which shipped with version 4?

Vert, how do I check the BIOS for temp?
Crayz, I've done all the updates, so it's like IE 6 now. I just IE cuz, uhm, well, fuck I dunno know. I just run this shit. Heh. I had put Firebird on here before I formatted and wasn't too used to it. I'll probably go that route though because this thing just gives me fits.

From HijackThis!, a program that detects any malware/spyware that's installed on your computer and can deactivate it. It's not as full-featured as, say, Spybot Search & Destroy, but it's small, fast, light, and not noticed by most spyware.

Fuck. I just reformated the drive yet again. Third time in a week. The second format was because I fucked up the first, but this time, things just got fucked up. I tried that site Faram. My best lead was to MS update, until I was met with an article not found. Doh!!!

Dude, if you're having this much trouble with that computer, then there is something wrong with your hardware. You never answered my question though. How hot is your chip getting?

I don't know. I don't know how to check my BIOS for it. I'm an armchair mechanic, not a computer technician.

I can't believe this!!! After two months or getting close to it, (I know I've been billed TWICE!) Galaxies suddenly worked! I was only one for a minute because we're having bad storms. Though this is potential. Now to kick thier ass about my inability to use thier product. Talley HO!!!
