They're nice that way. This reminds me of an argument I had with somebody on SB.com about why Las Vegas is a crappy setting for a GTA game... I said San Andreas would be better. Well... r0x0r me!DPDarkPrimus wrote:EDIT: I notice the (relatively) close release date. I like how they don't announce stuff until they've got it practially finished.
I was hoping for that in GTA: VC, it did get a bit odd when I could survive a SWAT van ramming me at 50mph yet I drowned in knee-deep water.Spanky The Dolphin wrote:Let's hope that this time around they make sure you can't drown in knee-deep water. That and they give you some kind of swim meter.
Yeah, like they said about GTA3 and GTA: VC. Oh wait...m112880 wrote:Its only for Playstation 2 those basterds
Not true! I can be completely underwater and not lose any health... without any cheats!Spanky The Dolphin wrote:Let's hope that this time around they make sure you can't drown in knee-deep water. That and they give you some kind of swim meter.
Is there a submarine I'm unaware of?DPDarkPrimus wrote:Not true! I can be completely underwater and not lose any health... without any cheats!Spanky The Dolphin wrote:Let's hope that this time around they make sure you can't drown in knee-deep water. That and they give you some kind of swim meter.

I'm hoping that you could form your own gang, and ally with some gangs while fighting with others. But, if you make enemies with one gang, they don't go shooting at you whenever you walk through their part of town. Not being able to go anywhere without people shooting at you late in the game took a good amount of fun from GTA III.Admiral Valdemar wrote:Bah, you know what cheat rocks? The one where you can get cars to work on water, they pull a DeLorean like thing as their wheels flip 90 degrees.
I'm wondering what the gangs will be like in GTA: SA. I hear there's a rap theme to it and may be set in modern day. I'm hoping no rap to be honest.
