Has anyone here tried this game? I'm thinking about going to pick it up tonight, to keep me entertained whilst I am laid up. Is it worth it? will it keep me engrossed? Should I just stick with dynasty Warriors 4? (DW4 ROXXORS!) or BF:1942. I've read reviews and they all say "thumbs up" as it were. But, You guys have much more stringent criteria. (Ref. Durandals vehement devotion to Marathon, et. al.) So what is y'alls take on the game?

Planet Moon, the creators of this game, are one of my favorite up and coming game studios. They are the creators of Giants: Citizen Kabuto, and if you've played that game you should know precicely what to expect. IMO, Armed and Dangerous isn't quite as good as Giants, but it IS hysterically funny at times and the gameplay is suitably entertaining. You won't be disapointed if you pick this game up.

Indeed, by all means pick it up. The game's a riot.
"You're both... French!"
"We surrender!"

While not the best game ever, some of the small things in it are priceless. Some of the dialouge is hilarious and the radom generated lines of the bad guys will crack you up.
The 'Land Shark Gun' is the coolest over the top weapon to ever come from a video game with the gravity bomb coming in a close second.
Its got a cartoonish feel to it with alot of the game play. While its not that hard, you do go around killing shit just to hear what the dead guy will say and what new little trinket you'll get next.
The cutscreens are hilarious as well. There is a good rip off of the Taun Taun scene from SW were they're going to save one of their buddies by stuffing him in a dead animal..................
Funny shit.
