Linux Certification
Can anyone recommend the best type of Linux certification to go for? If you're looking to get into Linux admin work, which cert will help you the most, or is most desired by employers?

I would strongly recommend LPI or Red Hat's RHCE or RHCT programs. Both are highly educational, well crafted, challenging, most respected and trusted as well as relatively expensive.
Actually, other than some continuing education courses, I'm not sure there are any others, or least others worth pursuing.
You may also want to check if Novell might be offering one of their own seeing as how the just accquired SuSE.

While, I might agree with you. HR departments do not. Which is kinda sad, but the reality of working in tech, especially here in the Valley.Faram wrote:In my book all scertifications exept Cisco is worth less than the paper they are printed on.
