Zulkir Tam sat in his chamber, deep in a trance. His mind wandered, like it so often did, remotely watching his underlings and peers as they went about their mundane activities. He wondered if they had all felt it, as he did. But surely, they did, he reminded himself. A person would have to be utterly blind to the weave NOT to detect the immense waves of power emitting from the Dragon Coast. It was unlike anything Tam had ever experienced, a point of energy that seemed truly infinite. The only thing it could be was a Netherese mythallar. But all the arcanists of old were long gone, and the weave itself could no longer support such a massive amount of energy. Unless. Tam shook himself from his mediatation, and conjured up one of his enslaved creatures, the soul of a Phaerimm he had ensnared a hundred years ago. "You feel it, phaerimm. I know you do, and you hunger for it. Can it truly be a mythallar?" asked Tam mentally. The phaerimm's soul wirthed painfully in its ethereal cage as it dug up old memories. "Yes...it is..a gzis'vosl*burp* zzar." it said in an utterly alien lanuage, which translated roughly into mythallar. Tam reclined against his throne, his bony fingers tapping his chin. "The Chosen will certainly want to deal with this, but they are all busy at this time. A shame. The only major competition I will be facing will be the Halruaan's." Tam dismissed the phaerimm soul absentmindedly, then mentally alerted his everwatchful army. "Move out to westgate with all speed. Let nothing stand in your path. We will have the mythallar, and whoever created it. Nothing will stop Thay this time."

Jax walked back from studying his notes, and saw the dismembered parts of replicators and the still ongoing fight.
"REPLICATORS! CEASE AND DESIST ALL HOSTILIES! RETURN TO YOUR DUTIES!"
All the replicators scurried away, quickly, igoring the spells and not firing a shot.
Jax reached down and picked up the reamins of a flame replicator.
"I never made this.........and why are.......WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED HERE!?"

Astinius found the cleric and sent him to deal with the mess he had caused with those replicators
Then he started composing a letter to the other chosen
Fellow Chosen,
I am sure you have felt the disturbance in the weave, and yes, a Netherese Mythallar has been created acidentally by Malkamar the Spellfire Channeler.
I canot be sure what the will of Mystra is in this manner. On the one hand, such a thing is very dangerous in the wrong hands. On the other, if we were not ready for it she would not have allowed it to come into existence. So long as it's use is not wastefull, and if we keep it out of the hands of the Thayans, Zhents, and Halruaans, we shouldnt have many problems. Especially if we limit its area of effect to the minimum.
I can personally take charge of its safety, and if the worst happens, I can also destroy it with a sphere of annihilation... However, I get the feeling that Mystra may want it here...
~Astinius Malakavar
He then sent it through portals to the residences of the various chosen

Erhart eyed Jax for a moment and shook his head
"These toys got out of hand. Torma was just playing with them and they lashed out.."

"Playing with them? They are under standing order not to risk harming any living thing that isn't directly attacking them. What did this "playing" consist of?"

After just taking the first hit he felt, Secquon was diving in on a group of Replicators, when he saw them all scurry away. He converted his momentum into an upward swoop, allowing gravity to pull him back down to the ground. *Darn, just when it was getting interesting. Maybe Jax could get them to tone down the blasts just a bit for training purposes, hmmm.*
OOC:Between AC and Electrical resistance, it would take an average of 380 shots before the first point of damage was scored on Secquon, with a constant amount of 4 pts per 760 shots on average.

"Harm no living thing? Right...it's just as well the lightning did nothing to her...all she was doing was playing a game of cat and mouse....your little bugs being the rodents"

"Think of it from the point of view of the mouse."

"So she was tearing apart, creatures as smart as any human, for FUN!?"
Jax is at this point, seeing red.
"Gods dammit, I wish you had the maturity of an adult dragon instead of....."
Jax blinked, as he realized that the Mythallar had made spellcasting so easy he had used a miricle spell in a flash of anger.

"what have you do.....no...don't tell me." He muttered and shook his head

"So, first you lose control of your toys, and now your spells. I thought we'd already discussed the whole 'abuse of power' thing."

++Sorry lady Tevar, they reqeusted it OOC++
"..........eep"
Jax's facial expression can best be expressed as a mix of shock, embarresment, and horror.
"I......er..........."
He trails off.
"That's it, I'm going to be kicked out of the order for this."

(likewise, its the phrase 'I wish', combined with the way he stopped, tends to make a guy paranoid, especially given how easily the wish spells have been slung around already.)

Torma's mind suddenly expands into new portions of her brain, and she feels more like a middle aged dragon than a young one suddenly.

Astinius walked out of the tower
"The other chosen have been alerted to the presense of the Mythallar. I am sure however that we can expect to encounter a great many armies that will seek to take this thing... We need to figure out how to cast a spell that hasnt been cast in thousands of years.. Proctives Move Mountain"

"You wish to create an Enclave." Malkamar spoke quietly, almost reverently. "We don't have that amount of power. We'd need Whole Magic, and that just doesn't exist anymore. Sure, once it's up, the Mythallar will hold it, but.."

"That is the problem... I seem to remember a ritual that will raise an area of castle size above the ground... That should work in the mean time"

Fearghal shook his head, "I doubt such magic is entirely possible anymore....though....the Mythallar were meant to be no more aswell...."

"However, Astinius is correct. We'll be beset soon." Malkamar sighed. "If we can lift the tower, good. If not, we move it to a Demiplane and shift the access points."

Gaheris followed. "That would be... impressive. I am going to go to the Abbey of the Blinding Truth and ask Abbot Khazar if he knows what threats come our way. He surely knows what has happened here, and I find it strange that he has not sent to us to find out what is going on. Perhaps he can consult with Tyr for guidance; we'll need it if we're going to beat back the kind of enemies that will come for this mythallar long enough to get a floating enclave to keep it in." Percival's timing was impeccable, as usual. As Gaheris finished speaking the griffon flew in low, and he jumped on without Percival having to stop. Such was their connection after so long together...

"The ritual we would have to cast is called 'Raise the Keep' it requires eight arcane spellcasters however. We have three... we need five more. And the casting takes a week. Fearghal, are thare any harpers nearby who would help in the casting?"

Gaheris flew low over the city, banking in over the abbey wall with scarcely a nod towards the sentries. For some reason he felt pressed. He jumped off of Percival's back as they cleared the abbey proper, leaving the griffon to land with a clatter in the courtyard on his own. He was already jogging inside before Percival set down.
He came to a halt outside the abbot's office. "Is Abbot Khazar available? I have news of vast importance," he said to the abbot's aide.
