Okie, currnt status, im a level 15 Jedi sentanil, level 18 soldier, im on the bright, light side of live.
im just about to take on Malak for (hopefully) the last time aboard the Star Forge.
ive equpiped 1 double bladed light saber. color is purple, and the power cyrstals can stun and inflict double damage, ive dressed in the robes of a jedi master, and ive got cardio reguler type thing on my waste, and ive got sith power gauntlets on,ive used all of the dead human batterys, and im filled to the brim with stims.
How the hell i can i beat him after he and i have used all of uis Dead Jedi? i dont have any more stims to get my stats up, and my force powers are of little or no help against the basterd!
PLEASE, HELP ME!!

I always beat him as a Guardian, much easier to take him on saber-to-saber. If you're a light-sider, use a light side or neutral power on the Jedi, they'll give you Force energy. Use Force Speed to get as many as you can before Malak, if you're quick you only need to beat him down 2 or 3 times in melee.

Depends on what powers you have.
If you have either full Throw Lightsaber, Force Lightning or Force Storm...you can destroy the tubes along the edges...but leave one or the game goes haywire.
Force Speed helps greatly in this battle as well asany other Force stat pushers.
If you have any sort of throwing weaponry you can assualt him with those to peck off some life as well.

Everytime ive used force storm on him its failed, but if i use it on the tubes....
Hmmm..
Thanks for the advice guys...

Game doesn't go haywire if I destroy them all. Wierd bug for you.
Anyway, you really shouldn't have any trouble with Malak at this point. That you do is very odd. Your lightsabre sounds a bit crap. Maybe that's it. You should really be using two individual full-size sabres, one with the Mantle of the Force, one with the Heart of the Guardian.

Yeah the X-box version I played, did that...the PC probably doesn't but haven't done so to try.

Special crystals in the PC version.

There is meaner and better stuff.
Heck I'm amazed you don't have the Light side only crystal you can find on Korriban.

You could also try shields. And a shit load of grenades after you run away for a while. And remember, after you get hit a bunch run and use Force healing on yourself.

Heal up from the inventory screen. That was you don't waste a combat turn.

That feels like cheating though.

Ouch. You missed a lot of opportunities to make a really kick-ass character. This far in the game, just keep trying, and eventually you'll beat Malak.
The last time I played, it took me 3 Master Power attacks to kill him. I had Master Speed, 2 sabres which had ~ 30 attack each, Master 2 Weapon fighting, a Verpine Prototype shield, Regeneration +2 implant, space mask (imunity to poison and mind tricks), Revan's robes, Dominator power gloves, fortitude +1 belt, and a Hyperadrenal Strength stim to help me. I was a level 5 soldier, level 15 Jedi Guardian.
And I only fought him in two rounds. After the first, I Death Fielded all the Jedi, and easily defeated Malak.

The first thing you have to remember with Malak is that he is pretty much a sith lord with stupidly high saves....your powers basically won't work that well. Malak is a grab your saber and hack him to bits fight after you've dealt with the trapped jedi.
Sith lord suchi...mm.

Cryoban grenades work great, freeze him a bit and toss poison or thermal nades at him, they usually hit, if you get a few hits in keep distance again and repeat. Usually get on your one strike, and unless he gets stunned rinse and repeat,

That is not cheating- it's exploiting a game feature. It's gameyness.

Yes, but you can only do that once per turn.

I don't know about that, but if they are making another KOTOR-like game, I would really like to have it in the OT time period, that would seriously own

I still haven't played chick Revan- too many games to finish off
But I think Revan's a dude- "Revan" just isn't a chick name. And the plot rings more true with a male, I think. Bastila healing you etc. etc. is just better when there's love interest involved.

And if you want to be really cheezy, make sure your demolitions skill is at least 5 to 7 points and then once you're in the final chamber, set a bunch of mines on the walkway between the door and Malak. You can set a whole crapload of them safely before the in-game cinematic begins.
Fight him the first time, he'll use one of the captive Jedi to heal himself, then after you run around and nuke the rest of the captives, lead him through the minefield. If he isn't dead, he'll be damned close. A swing or two and poof! No more Sith Lord.

And apparently if you play chick Revan, Juhani is *much* friendlier with you.
I haven't tested this myself, as I played evil female Revan and brushed off Juhani at every opportunity...

It's true. You can also murder Carth, but only if you hit on him before going EEEVIL.
BTW, you can easily cheese Malak to death by using cryobans to freeze him, then destroying the tubes while continuing to freeze him. When they're all gone shoot up one of EVERY stimulant you have and beat the guy to death. With Master Speed, Master Flurry, shooting all stims, and a Solari/Upari combo I think you can literally kill Malak in 1 round.
