Well shit, so far I've agreed with it, but now it looks like Pong is gonna beat River City Ransom, a game I was hoping would take the division.

Their matchups have been fucking trash. Last night I saw Adventure Vs. Zelda. What the bloody fuck is that? And the other day it was like Tomb Raider vs. Pitfall. I stopped voting because they're morons.

Uh, that's because it was an elimination tournament. The pairings weren't based on how similar the games were. I'm surprised how many people (on other forums) have been too stupid to understand this.

The first round is always the more popular games taking out smaller titles, this way you'll have exciting match-ups in the finals for each division.

It's just like sports brackets for single-elimination playoffs. You'll have a number 1 team facing a number 16 team in the first round, with the hope that the best teams will stick around for the exciting later games, just like AnimeJet said.

If pong knocks out tetris too I'm done with that devision.
