I think this was already posted somewhere, but yeah it's tight.

Personally, I thought it looked better than what I've seen in Doom 3 and Half-life 2 so far, in terms of sheer detail and all.

Proving once again, that in terms of graphics in FPS, you cannot get better than Epic's Unreal series.

Did a seach for Unreal, it appears it hasn't.

I must be thinking about that NV40 thread a short while back in this forum.

Shinova, this game won't be out for at least two years, probably more like three. It isn't meant to be compared to Doom III or HL2.

True, but what I find neat is that this is what they have NOW, compared to what Valve and Id have currently (unless they're hiding something in their offices that would literally make our eyes grow to the size of dinner plates)

The only thing they've shown is the equivalent of a tech demo. nVidia has the same thing, just check out their demos for NV40. It isn't hard to make an engine, it's hard to make an engine that is robust enough to support a game (something they haven't done yet) AND to actually make the game behind it. If you don't think that Valve or Id isn't working on their next-gen engines already then you'd be mistaken.

I thought the engine was first shown at GDC, with no cameras allowed?

Where the hell could he get that movie?

I thought that's what they said about the relatively lackluster Unreal 2 engine.

That was great! Especially liked the part where he said one of the monsters had more shit in than a level in the original unreal.
