Awesome sim games suggestions for the PS2

Well, I want a nice sim game. What I'm looking for is...well..coolness, a large degree of customization, control over something big and powerful, a wide degree of flexibility and awesomeness! For the PS2. I want a recent game too. Any suggestions would be very welcome.
And, how awesome is Jurassic Park: Operation Genesis? Who'll win in the game? T-rex or a Spinosaurus?
