HW2 is proof that there must be a god.

*angels sing*

Hard as hell though.

Although comparing an FPS to an RTS is somewhat of an apples and oranges comprison IMO Homeworld 2 is the better game of the two. Damn hard though.

UT2K4 is brilliant even thgouh i don't have a net conection in my room! If you liked UT (or UT2003) then get 2004 as it has the graphics of 2003 but assault has returned and there's the new Onslaught mode as well. Few things can match seeing the Leviathan main gun fire for the first time!

It depends on your taste. If you like intense FPS multiplayer combat Unreal Tournament should be your choice. But if RTS is your favorite go for Homeworld 2.

Though I've heard HW2 doesn't quite live up to HW1.

I personally say UT2k4, but since you seem to have already made the purchase, oh well.

Homeworld 2 is just a poor rehash of Homeworld 1. You want fun, go ut2004, great stuff. And the best thing to tide you over until the next Tribes game.

Both are easy AAA games, but you can't comapre them, even replay value is practicly the same.

Go with the FPS.

Thinking is for losers, shooting is for winners

Unfortunately, it's the people in charge of the strategy rather than the shooting that drop that napalm on you ;)

Obviously Hockey.

That's an easy one.

Chess of course. It is the most intelligent game ever.

I've played UT loads, HW2 wasn't that interesting, even with great graphics. Perhaps I just needed to get into it, whereas UT i knew what I was doing instantly.

Homeworld 2. Theres bound to be loads of HW2 mods hitting the net soon. Each mod imho creats a new aspect the the game. FPS's get old after a while.

Crush Depth looks quite promising, as do the Taiidan Republic and Requim War. Angels Fall First started out well but seems to have hit a snag.
