I was going to ask what everyone's favorite FF game was, but I figured I would get inundated with people saying "FF7!" So, assuming that 7 is the best, what is your SECOND favorite? And, if you are feeling talkative, why?

Mine is X, btw.

Er...I like 6 better. Second favorite so far would be X.

I have always had a soft spot for final fantasy 6. Its all about shadow. ^_~

7 is far from the best, IMO. 1, 4, and 6 were better. Especially 4.

your poll simply assumes that everyones favorite final fantasy is seven, and is therefore rather worthless, since not everyone finds FF7 to be the best out of the series.

Of the FF games I've played (4-9) six is the best. Four, five and seven are roughly equally good.

Actually i both FF6 or FF4 as the best. My second favorite would be FFX.

I honestly never liked 7. The story didn't grab me. You konw which one grabbed me? FFI. That's it. seph blows. Bring on knight.

Hey, how many of you, after the thief grew up, kept using nunchucks? Don't lie, either, I know I'm not the only one. I wondered why he was so shitty for a long time, then, for some reason, perhaps by accident I had him fight bare-fisted one fight and he whooped the holy howling shit outta some poor whatever-they-were.

This is odd. Everyone I ever talked to had orgasms over 7... hm. Will rework this.

Tossup between Seven and Ten for second place. Nothing is gonna unseat Six, except Chrono Trigger.

For second places sadly if FF2 had a better combat it would much better.

Though for today second place is FF6...onl;y because while Auron is still my fave character...the rest don't quite live up to his awesomeness...and currently I'm on a FF8 kick which was my former number 2.

FF6 for second best.

Well, my second fave is VII. I never liked VIII. I just could never get into it.

Top of course is VI.

FF7 sucks. Of all the FFs I've played, it's my least favorite.
My #1 choice would be Final Fantasy VI, Followed by FF5, then FF4.

You liked FF5? I had to walk away from that after about a hour, I thought it was stupid.

I do agree 7 sucked, not their best effort.

7 was my secend fav, i voted for X in the other thread, so I'll just 7 here seeing as I can't vote for it.

Of the Final Fantasies, I liked FF6 the best, followed by FF Tactics. But since we seem to be sticking with the numerical ones here, probably FF4 here.
