Yay me! *does happy dance* :D

I spent pretty much the whole night doing it, too. Less than 24 hours, baby! A lot less *looks at time* Yep, I was still asleep this time yesterday. But I didn't pay attention to when I restarted (I made the mistake of attack Tanya...D'oh! So I redid the game).

I was a nice super-uber Paladin by the end of it, too. Erana loves me. W00t!

Now, if only I can find a copy of QFGV somewhere in good to new condition...

QFGIV? My guess would be Quest For Glory IV.

That game rocked hard. Played through it many times, but only actually beat it once. Gotta love character importing, too, even if it doesn't have much real effect. Anyone ever taken the same character through all five games?

I wish. QFG I is a bitch though. It feels like I'm just wandering around, with no real goal, purpose, or direction, other than "fight Brigands, free Baron and children."

QFG II managed to move you along, with plenty of time for exploration, then the Elementals and shipping you off to Rasier to get the story going. QFG III did the same, by essentially forcing you along to the Simbani village at least, and setting up various plot points to follow through. QFG IV had Katrina to lead you along, as well as Igor's plight and then the Gypsies to give you direction. And, as a Paladin (the character I played through) Pyrotyr (sp) also guided you along.

So far as I can tell in QFG I, I can just wander along all day if I want. The closest thing I have is that the Baron and his children are missing and the Brigands are bad people. Maybe I just haven't played it through enough, but so far as I can tell, the only way to get a clue to move on is to wander around enough and bump into something, like the Frost Giant, wandering along to Baba Yaga's and Erasmus' places, and the Guild Hall to give you the overall mission.

Though correct me if I'm wrong, please. I want more! :)

AT any rate, I beat QFG II, which is how I had the Paladin, but recently QFG III keeps crashing on me during the initiation! :x It's possible to play it through, since my sister beat the game and all, but God damn, this bug or whatever is pissing me off!
