Anyways, you know what looks really cool about this OVA? Awesome action scenes that seem to have their own distinct flavor. Sure it's over the top (especially that shot of Cloud with the motercycle flying through the air to connect with his sword) but it looks daaaaaaaamn cool.

Can I just break the mood by mentioning how I still hate Sephy looking like an angst-ridden, Marilyn Manson fan in androgenous form.

Other than that, it may just be good. So long as they don't ressurect Aeris and ruin the whole excellent story that was FFVII.

Sephiroth's look doesn't really bother me at all. I think it's actually a pretty good rendition of the character.

Though is it just me or does Cloud look kinda Korean?

I can let Sephiroth's frankly disturbing goth looks go if I can find out what the plot is and whether it fucks over the original game or whether it acts as a beautiful account of the events after Meteor fucks everything up with that fairly open ending.

NB: I've never, for some insane reason, finished FFVII despite numerous times of getting to the final fight and just not getting around to it. I always kept trying to beat that bitch that is Ruby Weapon.

If the Highwind and Zefram Cochrane are in this too, I'll be happy indeed.

May I point out that the person covered in the white sheet is very likely Aeris? Look at the facts, the supposed Turks are protecting her, she is sitting in a church looking very much like hers, the story has to do with Jenova (thus her people as well, as they are tied together), and the trailer mentions if Cloud is doing this for himself.

It suggests that since it has to be a chacter from FFVII (why else would it be covered?) it's either Aeris or Sephiroth.

I thought that at first and then thought "Sqaure-Enix wouldn't be that stupid" and dismissed it as a horrible cliché they'd not throw in.
