so I found an utterly sexy scene in a dvd I was watching, and am wondering if there is a way to get just that scene saved to my comp.

advice is welcome.

By the way, you'll need SmartRipper, DVD2AVI, the VFAPI codec, the divx codec, the Lame codec, and VirtualDub. It sounds complicated but once you've done it a couple of times it's incredibly easy.

Of course, this is only "fair use", hence legal, if you legally own the DVD. Even then, it is arguably illegal because of the DMCA, although the DMCA itself is illegal because it violates the Constitution.

Just out of curiousity, which part of the Constitution does the DMCA violate?
