I would second GetRight, though it would help to know what you've used and the source of your frustration.

Do NOT, under any circumstances, get GetRight. It installs spyware.

Is it at all possible to get DAP to integrate with firefox?

GetRight has a plugin for Netscape compatible browsers (Mozilla et al) but it's not as flexible as using it with Internet Explorer (stuff like pushing shift or alt to override click monitoring, etc don't work).
I prefer to copy paste if the file is too large, and use the regular Firebird DM for anything smaller than 5 megs.

What I do though is simply make a script containing a list of wget commands for downloading, for example:
Code: Select all
wget -c 'http://net.unl.edu/swi/media2/extras/nukcrashtest_256k.mov'
wget -c "http://www.irkut.com/common/img/uploaded/su-30_collate-1.wmv"
Then again, this is probably only ok because I'm on dialup and can only download so many files at a time.
